Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Break20 ("we," "our," or "us") provides a 20-20-20 break reminder timer (the "App") to help users take periodic rest breaks. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App and how it is used.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not require account creation and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information. Your timer settings (such as your chosen rest duration) are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us.

2. Information Collected Automatically

We use the following third-party service providers, which may process limited technical data as part of delivering and securing the App:

  • Cloudflare Pages (Hosting): Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., automatically processes standard connection data (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) in server logs for the purpose of delivering content, maintaining security, and preventing abuse. We do not directly access or store this data ourselves.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage patterns (such as page views and general visit counts). This service is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies or any client-side state to track individual users across sites, and it does not collect personally identifiable information.

You can review Cloudflare's own privacy practices at their privacy policy.

3. Cookies

The App does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, consistent with Section 1 above.

5. Data Retention and Security

Because we do not collect or store personal information on our own servers, there is no personal data for us to retain. Any technical log data processed by Cloudflare is subject to Cloudflare's own retention and security practices.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal data processed on your behalf (such as access, correction, or deletion). Since the App does not collect personal data directly, such requests would generally need to be directed to Cloudflare for any data processed through their services. You may also contact us using the details below with any questions.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
