Last updated: July 13, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Break20 (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Break20 is a free browser-based timer based on the "20-20-20" eye-strain reduction concept. By default, the App reminds you to take a break approximately every 20 minutes, for a rest period you can adjust between 20 and 60 seconds.
The App is provided for general wellness and productivity purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The 20-20-20 concept is a general wellness practice, and individual needs vary. Consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any eye strain, vision, musculoskeletal, or other health concerns.
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to disrupt its operation, reverse-engineer it beyond what is permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written permission.
We aim to keep the App available and functioning correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
